นับถอยหลังวันทำงานวันสุดท้าย…เหมือนรอหยุดยาวแต่ยาวกว่า
Counting Down to the Last Working Day… Like Waiting for a Holiday, Only Longer

ตอนแรกที่รู้ว่าต้องออกจากงาน บอกตรง ๆ ใจหายอยู่เหมือนกันนะ มันผูกพันกับทีมงาน กับบรรยากาศที่เคยเจอมาทุกวัน ใครจะไม่เศร้า? แต่พอเวลาผ่านไป สามเดือนให้หลัง กลับกลายเป็นว่า…เอ๊ะ! ทำไมฉันเริ่มลุ้น ๆ อยากให้ถึงวันสุดท้ายเร็ว ๆ ซะงั้น

At first, when I learned I had to leave my job, I’ll admit it hurt. I was attached to my team and the daily atmosphere—who wouldn’t feel sad? But three months later, it somehow turned into… wait, why am I suddenly excited for that final day to come faster?

แล้วงานช่วงท้ายนะก็มีสีสันไปอีกแบบ เพราะต้องส่งต่อให้คนอื่น กว่าจะอธิบาย กว่าจะเคลียร์ไฟล์ เหมือนกำลังจัดมรดกให้ลูกหลาน 😂 บางไฟล์นี่แทบอยากเขียนพินัยกรรมแนบไว้ว่า “ถ้าเปิดไม่ได้ ให้ลองปิดแล้วเปิดใหม่…ถ้าไม่ได้อีก ก็ขอให้โชคดี”

Work at the end suddenly became more colorful because I had to hand everything over to others. Explaining, cleaning files—it felt like arranging an inheritance for descendants 😂. Some files almost made me want to leave a will: “If you can’t open it, try closing and reopening… if that fails, good luck.”

สิ่งที่แอบตลกคือ ตอนแรกเราคิดว่าการลาออกครั้งนี้จะเป็นเรื่องน่าเศร้าสุด ๆ แต่พอถึงจริง ๆ กลับกลายเป็นว่าเหมือนนับถอยหลังหยุดยาวยิ่งกว่าสงกรานต์-ปีใหม่รวมกันอีก เพราะนอกจากจะได้เวลาพัก ยังมีเงินติดกระเป๋าไปเริ่มเส้นทางใหม่อีกต่างหาก

The funny thing is, I thought this whole thing would be terribly sad. But in reality, it feels like a countdown to the longest holiday ever—longer than Songkran and New Year combined. Not only do I get rest, but also some money in my pocket to start a new path.

ช่วงนี้เลยใช้ชีวิตแบบสองหน้า (ฮา)

So lately I’ve been living a kind of double life (lol).

- กับเพื่อนร่วมงาน : ทำหน้าโหมดเศร้า “เสียดายจังเลยที่เราจะไม่ได้ทำงานด้วยกันแล้ว”

- With colleagues: Wearing my “sad mode” face, saying, “I’ll really miss working with you all.”

- กับตัวเอง : แอบดีใจอยู่ลึก ๆ “อีกนิดเดียวก็ได้พักยาว + เงินชดเชยแล้วโว้ยย”

- With myself: Secretly thrilled, “Just a little longer and I’ll get a long break + severance pay, woohoo!”

สุดท้ายก็ได้บทเรียนว่า… ชีวิตมันไม่ได้เศร้าอย่างเดียวหรอกนะ บางทีมันแค่สลับโหมดระหว่าง ดราม่ากับตลก แล้วเราก็เป็นนางเอกในหนังชีวิตตัวเองนั่นแหละ

In the end, I learned that life isn’t all sorrow. Sometimes it just switches between drama and comedy—and we’re the lead actors in our own life movie.

ท้ายสุดจริง ๆ ละ นี่ก็ไม่รู้ว่าวันสุดท้ายของการทำงาน กับวันที่นิยายเล่มสองเขียนจบ สิ่งไหนจะมาถึงก่อนกัน เอาเป็นว่าถ้านิยายเขียนเสร็จทีหลังก็คิดเสียว่า…เอาเงินชดเชยมาเติมค่ากาแฟแล้วปั่นนิยายต่อยาว ๆ ก่อนหางานใหม่แล้วกัน! ☕📚

And really, in the end—I still don’t know which will come first: my last working day, or the day I finish writing my second novel. Let’s just say, if the novel comes later, I’ll use the severance pay to fuel up on coffee and keep writing it long and steady… before I find a new job! ☕📚

Your heart stayed true, untouched by blame.

They may not see the path you tread,
Or hear the words you never said.
But honesty, like morning light,
Will shine through shadows, calm and bright.

So hold your ground, though winds may sway,
Your truth will guide you through the day.
For those who walk with silent might,
Are stars unseen in darkest night.

This poem is shared to encourage everyone who works with sincerity and heart,
even when the conditions are beyond their control. You are seen. You matter.

นิยายเรื่องแรกของฉันเป็นแนว LGBTQ+ fiction ดังนั้นสิ่งที่ฉันให้ความสำคัญมากที่สุดคือ “ความเท่าเทียม” โดยเฉพาะในแง่ของเพศและความเป็นมนุษย์ที่หลากหลาย ฉันอยากให้งานเขียนของฉันสื่อถึงความเสมอภาคอย่างเป็นธรรมชาติ แม้เนื้อเรื่องจะอยู่ในโลกสมมติและมีบรรยากาศย้อนยุค แต่ฉันไม่ได้เขียนด้วยความโลกสวยถึงขั้นมองข้ามข้อจำกัดของความเป็นจริง โดยเฉพาะข้อเท็จจริงทางร่างกายระหว่างเพศ

ตัวละครเอกของฉันเป็นผู้หญิง ฉันไม่ต้องการทำให้พวกเธอดูเก่งเกินจริงหรือไร้ข้อจำกัดทางกายภาพ เพราะในชีวิตจริง หญิงสาวย่อมเผชิญกับข้อจำกัดบางอย่างที่แตกต่างจากผู้ชาย และเมื่ออยู่ในบริบทของโลกโบราณที่ชีวิตไม่ได้สะดวกสบาย ความท้าทายก็ยิ่งมากขึ้น 

 แล้วเราจะยังพูดถึงความเท่าเทียมได้อย่างไร? 

สำหรับฉัน ความเท่าเทียมไม่ใช่การทำให้ทุกคนเหมือนกัน แต่คือการยอมรับธรรมชาติของกันและกัน ให้เกียรติในความเหมือนและความต่าง และไม่ใช้ความเหนือกว่าทางกายภาพหรือสถานะมากดทับหรือเบียดเบียนผู้อื่น เช่น ถ้าตัวใหญ่กว่า ก็ไม่ควรรังแกคนตัวเล็กกว่า ถ้ารวยกว่าหรือมีอำนาจมากกว่า ก็ไม่ควรใช้อำนาจนั้นอย่างดูถูกหรือข่มผู้อื่น เพราะการกระทำเช่นนั้นไม่ใช่สิ่งที่น่าเคารพเลย

ในโลกของนิยายที่ฉันสร้างขึ้น ทุกคนต่างเคารพซึ่งกันและกันโดยไม่ลืมธรรมชาติของชีวิต ไม่มีใครลืมหน้าที่ของตน หรือคิดว่าตัวเองจะอยู่ค้ำฟ้าไปตลอด อำนาจ ลาภยศ หรือความสะดวกสบาย  ล้วนเป็นสิ่งที่ดี หากเรารู้จักใช้และรักษาไว้ให้ยั่งยืน เนื้อเรื่องของฉันจึงพูดถึงการปกครองที่ต้องการสร้างความสงบ ความพอเพียง และการมีอยู่ร่วมกันของทุกคนอย่างยั่งยืน ผู้นำในเรื่องไม่ได้สมบูรณ์แบบ พวกเขาก็ต้องเรียนรู้ ฝ่าฟัน และเผชิญความเปลี่ยนแปลง รวมถึงความหลงผิดของคนบางกลุ่มเช่นเดียวกัน

ตัวแทนของการเรียนรู้ การเสียสละ และการมองการณ์ไกล

องค์ราชินี ในนิยายของฉันเป็นตัวแทนของผู้นำที่เลือกปกครองด้วยความเหมาะสม โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อความยั่งยืนและความเท่าเทียม พระองค์ไม่ใช่ผู้นำที่เพียงแต่ได้รับโอกาสจากฐานะ หากแต่เป็นผู้ที่ใช้โอกาสนั้นอย่างเต็มความสามารถ ค่อย ๆ วางรากฐานอย่างมั่นคง คิดอย่างรอบคอบ และลงมือทำจริง พระองค์ไม่ได้อยู่แค่ในห้องทรงงาน แต่เข้าใจสถานการณ์จริงและพร้อมจะเผชิญกับปัญหาด้วยตัวเอง

ขณะเดียวกัน จินดา — ตัวละครอีกคน — คือภาพแทนของคนรุ่นใหม่ที่เลือกจะเข้าใจโลก ไม่ใช่เพื่อเปลี่ยนแปลงโลกตามใจตน แต่เพื่อเรียนรู้ว่าการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่ยั่งยืนนั้นต้องอาศัยทั้งความเข้าใจในนโยบายและหัวใจของผู้คน เธอรู้หน้าที่ของตนเอง และเลือกจะสละความสุขส่วนตัวไม่ใช่เพราะเป็นนางเอกในนิยาย หากแต่เพราะเธอเห็นว่าความเสียสละนั้นไม่ได้ลดทอนความเป็นมนุษย์ของเธอเลย

จินดาไม่อ้างสิทธิ์ ไม่เรียกร้องอำนาจ แม้เธอจะเป็นธิดาของเจ้าเมืองใหญ่ที่มั่งคั่ง มีอิทธิพลทั้งด้านเศรษฐกิจและกำลังคน แต่เธอก็ไม่ใช้ต้นทุนเหล่านั้นเป็นเครื่องมือในการก้าวขึ้นสู่อำนาจ เธอไม่ใช่คนเกียจคร้าน หากแต่เลือกที่จะไม่ทำในสิ่งที่แม้จะ “ทำได้” แต่จะสร้างปัญหาตามมาในระยะยาว เธอเชื่อในบทเรียนจากอดีต และรู้ว่าไม่จำเป็นต้องลงมือผิดพลาดก่อนถึงจะเรียนรู้

องค์อดีตราชา(ราชาอนันตวรมัน) ในเรื่อง ก็เป็นตัวแทนของการเปิดโอกาสที่แท้จริง พระองค์ไม่ได้ใช้อำนาจในฐานะกษัตริย์บังคับให้ใครคล้อยตามทันที หากแต่ค่อย ๆ วางรากฐานด้วยความเข้าใจและอดทน ตัวอย่างหนึ่งคือ เมื่อพระธิดาของพระองค์อายุเพียง 14 พระองค์ได้บอกกับพระธิดาว่าจะแต่งตั้งให้เป็นองค์รัชทายาทเพื่อสร้างความมั่นใจและเตรียมพร้อม จนเมื่อพระธิดาอายุ 18 ชันษาจึงแต่งตั้งอย่างเป็นทางการ พร้อมเปิดพื้นที่ให้องค์ราชาได้ประเมินระบบการทำงานและฟังเสียงประชาชน เพื่อให้การขึ้นครองราชย์ขององค์รัชทายาทหญิงคนแรกในประวัติศาสตร์อาณาจักรนี้เป็นไปอย่างรอบคอบที่สุด

เมื่อองค์รัชทายาทมีพระชนม์มายุ 22 ชันษา องค์ราชาก็สละราชสมบัติ ให้พระธิดาขึ้นครองราชย์เป็นราชินี เพื่อสานต่อเจตนารมณ์ และเห็นด้วยตนเองถึงความตั้งใจที่มั่นคงของพระธิดาที่เคยได้เพียงชื่อว่า “ผู้สืบทอด” และบัดนี้เป็น “ผู้นำ” อย่างแท้จริง

Equality Through the Queen, Jinda, and the Former King

My first novel falls under the LGBTQ+ fiction genre, and the value I hold most dearly is equality—especially in terms of gender and the diversity of humanity. I want my writing to reflect equality in a natural and believable way. Although the story is set in a fictional ancient kingdom, I don’t write with a naive lens that ignores the physical realities between genders.

The protagonists of my story are women. I never wanted to portray them as unrealistically strong or physically limitless. In real life, women do face physical challenges that differ from those of men. When placed in a historical context—one far from modern comfort—these limitations become even more apparent. So how can we still talk about equality?

For me, equality does not mean making everyone the same. It means recognizing each other’s nature, respecting both similarities and differences, and never using one’s physical or social advantage to harm others. If you're bigger, you shouldn't bully someone smaller. If you're wealthier or hold more power, you shouldn’t belittle or exploit. Those actions are never worthy of respect.

In the world I’ve built, everyone respects one another without forgetting the nature of life itself. No one forgets their duty, nor assumes they’ll live forever in power. Authority, privilege, and comfort are all good things—if we know how to use and preserve them responsibly. My story is built around governance that aims for peace, sustainability, and coexistence. The leaders in my novel aren’t perfect; they, too, must learn, stumble, and face misguided groups during times of change.

Symbols of Learning, Sacrifice, and Foresight

The Queen  in my story represents a ruler who governs based on what is right—aiming for sustainability and equality. She is not simply someone granted power by birthright; she is someone who uses that opportunity with full effort, laying down foundations with care and acting with intention. She doesn’t sit idly in her chambers; she understands the world and chooses to engage with it head-on.

Jinda—another key character—is the embodiment of a new generation that chooses to understand the world, not to force it to change for her, but to learn how change can last. She understands both policy and people. Her sacrifices are not made because she’s a heroine; they’re made because she sees that giving up comfort does not strip her of her humanity.

Jinda does not demand power, even though she is the daughter of a wealthy and influential governor. She never uses her resources to climb the ladder of authority. She isn’t lazy—far from it. She simply chooses not to do something just because she can, especially if it would cause greater harm in the long term. She learns from the past and believes one doesn't have to make mistakes personally in order to understand them.

The former king (Anantavaraman) represents true opportunity. He does not wield his power to command submission. Instead, he carefully lays the groundwork for change. One example is when he tells his daughter at age 14 that she will be appointed Crown Princess. This early declaration allows her time to prepare and to build trust. At age 18, he formally names her heir and opens space for thoughtful debate—welcoming feedback from the royal court and the people.

They discuss how the kingdom would respond to having its first female ruler. More importantly, they ask how the Crown Princess herself would prove her readiness. The king doesn’t wait long. When his daughter turns 22, he abdicates the throne, allowing her to rise as Queen and carry on the mission. In that moment, she is no longer “the successor,” but a true leader in her own right—driven, wise, and devoted to her people.

Equality in Fantasy Fiction: A Queen’s Path to Justice and Leadership

My debut novel explores themes of equality—especially in terms of gender and the diversity of human experience. As an LGBTQ+ fiction set in a fictional kingdom with historical tones, the story was designed to reflect equality in a natural, grounded way. Though the setting is imaginative, I never intended to bypass the physical and social realities that come with gender in any time period.

The main characters are women, and I chose not to depict them as unrealistically strong or unbounded by physical limitations. In real life, women face unique challenges, especially in times and places where life is far from convenient. So how can we speak of equality in such a setting?

For me, equality means acknowledging differences while respecting them. It’s not about making everyone the same but about honoring both strength and vulnerability, and never using physical or social advantages to exploit others. True respect means kindness, restraint, and responsibility.

The Kingdom Where Respect and Reality Coexist

In this fictional world, people do not forget their roles or responsibilities. Power and privilege are not painted as evil, but rather as tools—useful only when managed with wisdom and humility. Leadership in this story is about sustainability, harmony, and learning, not domination or fame.

Each leader must overcome challenges, face resistance, and work toward lasting peace. The governance depicted here values long-term unity, not short-term victory.

Three Figures, Three Perspectives on Equality

The Queen: Steady and Thoughtful

The Queen represents a leader who governs with integrity and balance. She was not handed her power without expectations; she had to prove herself through thoughtful action. She works from the ground up, understanding both policies and people, and doesn’t hide behind palace walls.

Jinda: Humble and Selfless

Jinda, a noblewoman and daughter of a wealthy governor, never seeks power for herself. She embodies the value of self-sacrifice—not out of obligation, but from wisdom. She recognizes that not everything one can do should be done, especially if it harms the future. Her strength lies in restraint and understanding the past without repeating its mistakes.

The Former King: A Visionary of Opportunity

The former King (Anattavaraman) chose to build lasting change, not impose it. When his daughter was 14, he told her she would one day rule. At 18, he officially named her the Crown Princess, while allowing time for debate, planning, and acceptance from both court and people. When she turned 22, he abdicated the throne and passed the crown to her. This gradual transition shows how real leadership is nurtured, not demanded.

แต่เรื่องของ “พาหิยะทารุจิริยะ” เป็นบทพิสูจน์ว่า ธรรมะไม่วัดจากเวลา แต่วัดจากใจที่บริสุทธิ์และเปิดรับได้ในขณะนั้น

🌿 จากพ่อค้าสู่ผู้แสวงหา

พาหิยะเริ่มต้นชีวิตใหม่หลังรอดชีวิตจากภัยทะเล เขาปลีกตัวไปบำเพ็ญตบะอย่างเคร่งครัด จนผู้คนยกย่องว่าเป็นพระอรหันต์ ทั้งที่ภายในใจเขารู้ว่า ตนยังไม่ถึงไหนเลย

เทพบุตรองค์หนึ่งซึ่งเคยเป็นญาติในอดีตชาติจึงมาเตือนว่า “ท่านยังไม่ใช่อรหันต์” พร้อมชี้แนะให้ไปหาพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าผู้แท้จริง

🚶 การเดินทางไกลแห่งศรัทธา

พาหิยะออกเดินเท้าจากชายฝั่งทะเลหลายร้อยกิโลเพื่อไปเฝ้าพระพุทธเจ้าที่พระนครสาวัตถี แม้จะเหนื่อยล้า แต่ใจของเขาเต็มเปี่ยมด้วยศรัทธา และเมื่อได้พบพระพุทธเจ้า เขากล่าวว่า:

“ข้าแต่พระองค์ผู้เจริญ ใครจะรู้ชีวิตของเราหรือของพระองค์ จะสิ้นสุดก่อนหรือไม่? โปรดแสดงธรรมแก่ข้าพเจ้าด้วยเถิด”

🕊️ ธรรมที่สั้นที่สุด แต่แรงที่สุด

พระพุทธเจ้าตรัสธรรมอันลึกซึ้งเพียงไม่กี่ประโยค:

“ในสิ่งที่เห็น จงเป็นเพียงผู้เห็น ในสิ่งที่ได้ยิน จงเป็นเพียงผู้ได้ยิน ในสิ่งที่รู้สึก จงเป็นเพียงผู้รู้สึก ในสิ่งที่คิด จงเป็นเพียงผู้คิด

เมื่อนั้น จะไม่มี ‘เธอ’ อยู่ในสิ่งเหล่านั้น และจะถึงที่สุดแห่งทุกข์”

เพียงได้ฟังจบ พาหิยะก็ บรรลุอรหัตในทันที โดยไม่ต้องฟังธรรมยืดยาว แต่เพราะ “ใจของเขาพร้อมแล้ว” และเขาไม่มีอะไรจะต้องยึดไว้เลย

💐 สุดท้ายของร่าง แต่ไม่ใช่สุดท้ายของธรรม

แม้พาหิยะจะเสียชีวิตก่อนการบวช (จากเหตุแม่โควิ่งชน) แต่พระพุทธเจ้าทรงตรัสว่า เขาเป็นผู้เลิศที่สุดในหมู่ผู้บรรลุธรรมฉับพลัน และให้จัดพิธีศพของเขาด้วยเกียรติของพระอริยะ

🌟 แรงบันดาลใจจากเรื่องพาหิยะ

ผู้เขียนไม่มีวันรู้ได้ว่าพาทิยะจะเริ่มปฏิบัติเพื่อความหลุดพ้นนี้มาตั้งแต่ชาติปางไหน แต่อย่างน้อยเรื่องของเขาก็พิสูจน์ว่าความพยายามไม่ทำร้ายใคร

หากคุณเคยดูถูกตนเองว่า “ยังไม่พร้อม” หรือ “ยังไม่ดีพอ” จงจำไว้ว่า พาหิยะไม่ใช่พระ ไม่ได้ยึดติดในพิธีกรรมใด แต่เขามีใจอ่อนน้อม มีปัญญา มีศรัทธา และไม่อวดรู้แม้มีคนยกย่องเขามากมาย
