Just casually writing Book Two… when Book Three barged in with its cuteness 😘
It’s like falling in love with two people. Welcome to the writer’s version of a love triangle—but make it adorable!
So there I was, fiercely typing away on my second novel. Sweating. Brain fried. Tears nearly falling. I was stuck, okay?
And then… Book Three just waltzed into my mind like a cat burglar. No knock. No warning.
It came at me in the shower, while doing dishes, when I swore I’d finally finish Book Two that day. But every time I got stuck, Book Three showed up grinning.
And it’s so cute. So silly. So squishy.
I found myself smiling like a weirdo at the characters… alone in my office.
(Slightly afraid someone might catch me.)
Then the guilt kicked in. Poor Book Two.
It felt like emotional cheating.
But I swear I love them both!
It’s just… Book Three is tapping at my heart’s door whispering,
“Hi. I’m here.”
Ugh. My weak little heart.
So I did what any decent writer would do:
Jotted down Book Three’s outline,
Then marched back to Book Two like a loyal lover trying to make things right.
(And maybe, just maybe, stop feeling like I’m having a fictional affair 😂)
As for the English translation…
I really wanted to translate Book Two, I swear.
But Book Three is already waiting.
Whispering, “Write me. I miss you.”
...Sigh. Okay. I surrender.
Honestly, if we don’t talk about book sales, everything sounds kind of dreamy, right?
But here’s the truth: I’ve been making exactly zero income from my writing every month.
Writers in Thailand have a funny way of saying this — we call it “eating eggs,”
which basically means “earning nothing at all.”
So yeah… boiled eggs, fried eggs, eggs with tears — you name it.
Still, I’m a happy newbie writer, living a humble little life with my characters.
Even if I’m surviving on salt and dreams. 🥚✨

This little newbie writer will keep writing.
Whether it’s Book Two, Three, or Seventeen 😅
